Create payment request with preset fiat amount producing a QR code for the equivalent XRP amount

The second step to enable this smooth real-life use case of buying a coffee with crypto, would be the ability to request a payment with a specific XRP or fiat value preset.
Imagine the following scenario:
The owner of the coworking space has his XUMM wallet set up with full access. The coffee shop cashier has the same XRP address set up as read-only access. She can still request payments, and it would make her life so easy if she could simply type in the fiat amount for one coffee (for example 60 THB here in Thailand), and XUMM will produce a QR code with the right XRP amount set, according to the current exchange rate. I could scan it and pay in the blink of an eye.

Wietse Wind: still looking forward to when you implement a fixed fiat payment request (i.e. variable XRP payment) that is shared by QR code and paid at a random date in the future.

AtheistAgnstViolence: Work in progress, it needs two other things we're currently working on, most importantly: https://github.com/XRPL-Labs/XUMM-Issue-Tracker/issues/392
You're very much invited to turn this into a separate feature request, "Fixed Fiat amount request" :)

A key feature would be if the created QR code was in the fiat value with variable xrp value. Thus if I sent a QR fiat request of $100, I would always receive an equivalent amount in xrp, it wouldn't matter if I was paid 1 day/week/month later, the fiat equivalent xrp amount would be transferred.
Thus the buyer/payer would always be wearing the currency conversion risk up to the time of payment.

In this scenario, if each user (most commonly in the same country) had Xumm set to display their fiat currency, they would only see fiat movements, just like a bank account.
Because Xumm is only showing fiat, when the $100 payment is made, that's all the requestor/payer see even though only xrp was transferred in the background.
Perhaps a future development of Xumm could be the incorporation of FXRP in the form a currency hedge to lock in the xrp / fiat conversions at time of transfer, this could remove the need for trustlines and IOU's.

I think this is a great idea to make xrp known to more people.
Your friend wants to try xrp? Let him install Xumm, he pays you some fiat money and in return you pay xrp to his xumm wallet.
This could make xrp popular in many places.
