We're going to do this for the Account Worth xApp

The USD already has two decimals but another currencies gives you a enormous long number

Lëø Bandeira: We did that on purpose, as assets on the XRP Ledger have many decimals. The amount of required decimals per assets may even bee needed, think about a BTC issuance.
This would require us to keep track of a sane amount of decimals per issued asset, which is not something we're eager to do. We do agree that there's optimization possible here, so we'll keep this in mind.

Wietse Wind: This idea reminded me of a recent issue I had with decimals. Let me know if you'd like this posted as a separate idea.
Idea: Currently balances with long decimal amounts are 'right-justified.' Change the visualization to be 'left-justified'
Example: I have 1,234,567.14723043 CSC. If I go to send CSC and push the 'All' button, the number is too long to fit in the box. The number that is visible is 34,567.14723043
Instead, it would be a better UX to show 1,234,567.14723 and cut off the smallest decimal places.
Let me know if that makes sense.

Jackson Sardello: If we would do that one wouldn't see what he/she is typing ;)
Jackson Sardello
Wietse Wind: I get that. But if you press the 'All' button, you're most likely not attempting to type. I don't mind the number reverting back to right-justified if I attempt to edit the number. It's just strange to hit the 'All' button and what appears is a very tiny fraction.

Wietse Wind: I'm referring to the xApp Account Worth. Try it yourself, change settings to BRL (Brazilian Real). The value in fiat shows more than 2 decimals. Why if we set to USD we only get 2 decimals already but not with BRL? That's my point.

Thanks for that clarification. I'll talk to my colleague Koen and see what we can do :)
-- Edit: we're going to do this!
